HEALTHY BOOST FOR SYDNEY OFFICE MARKET

Health industry tenants have boosted Sydney's office market with a number of companies securing new premises in the CBD, says Ray White Commercial.

Ray White Commercial Office Leasing director John Skufris said among the health industry tenants were companies such as Healthy Sleep, Ochre Health, Cryolab and Health Staff Solutions.

"Each tenant relocated to larger premises or took the next step with their business," Mr Skufris said.

"It has been a really encouraging trend and is another positive indicator our local economy is heading in the right direction."

Healthy Sleep is an Australian company assisting in the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea, which is based in Great Buckingham Street, Surry Hills.

Mr Skufris said the company had secured premises at Level 9, 189 Kent Street in the Sydney CBD's western corridor for three years.

"The office was fully refurbished and it has direct lift exposure," he said. "It has an east facing city outlook and harbour glimpses and is being leased at a commencing rate of $400 per sqm per annum gross."
