RESORT GROUP’S OFFICE SPACE IN DEMAND
Demand for office space in the Sydney central business district’s core financial precinct has increased with encouraging signs the trend will continue through the remainder of 2011, according to Ray White Commercial.
Ray White Commercial Office Leasing Director John Skufris said the former Permanent Trustee House building at 23-25 O’Connell Street was proving to be a popular destination for financial, legal and recruitment companies.
Mr Skufris said Sydney accounting firm CCT have recently relocated to the building, which is ideally positioned in the northern end of the CBD financial hub.
Accord Pacific Resorts Pty Ltd, part of Singapore's Lian Huat Group, purchased Levels 6 and 7 at 23-25 O'Connell Street in 2007 and have now begun offering office space for lease through Ray White Commercial.
"23-25 O'Connell Street is a desirable location for employers as it is right between Wynyard, Circular Quay and Martin Place train stations, making it convenient for staff and client visits," Mr Skufris said.
“It’s only 100m from Australia Square and 500m from Circular Quay.”
Ray White Commercial's Anthony Harris said the strata titled building features a selection of open plan and fully fitted out and furnished suites of approximately 50 sqm to whole floors of 368 sqm, offered for lease from $530 per sqm gross.
"We now have only two suites remaining with subdivisions also being considered” Mr Harris said.
