Increased demand for office space has resulted in serviced and virtual office locations expanding throughout Sydney's metropolitan area, according to Ray White Commercial.
Ray White Commercial Office Leasing Director John Skufris said new serviced and virtual office locations have emerged in the Sydney CBD, South Sydney, North Sydney, the eastern suburbs and at Parramatta.
“Serviced and virtual offices provide an alternative to traditional office space in existing and established business districts,” Mr Skufris said.
“Virtual offices offer off-site live communication and address services that allow users to maintain their business profile in a certain location.
"We recently leased a virtual office to the Presse Cafe group, which had a unique requirement. They needed a central office address for work meetings separate from their primary day-to-day retail operations in Sydney's CBD."
Ray White Commercial's Anthony Harris said: "We have seen serviced and virtual offices to be a stepping stone for home businesses and start ups. We are now assisting these tenants relocate to their own rental premises."
Founded in Sydney in 1978, ASX-listed international serviced and virtual office provider Servcorp has expanded in the metropolitan area by recently opening new offices at Bondi Junction and Parramatta.
“We now offer locations in all of Sydney’s key business hubs with already established locations in Sydney’s CBD, North Sydney, Ryde and Norwest Business Park,” said Servcorp’s Managing Director Taine Moufarrige.
“Servcorp have offices in nine Sydney locations and globally in 21 countries and 120 locations worldwide.”
The opening of the Kogarah Business Centre in Sydney’s south this month will provide a further extension of the city’s serviced and virtual office network.
“The centre will offer virtual offices and newly refurbished meeting rooms, day offices, video conferencing and secretarial services with on-site customer and visitor parking,” Mr Harris said.
