The Bowler's Club building in the Sydney CBD has received strong tenant demand so far in 2012, according to Ray White Commercial.
The building at 99 York Street has a mix of owner occupiers and tenants who are benefitting from the location’s close proximity to Sydney's Queen Victoria Building, the Town Hall and Westfield.
Ray White Commercial's John Skufris said: "Key tenants recently committing to 99 York St include the Last Resort group who have relocated from the Citigroup building at 2 Park Street.
“Others to move into the Bowler’s Club building include health services business Assessments Australia and multi-media news organisation, investor portal and events management firm Proactive Investors."
Last Resort supports a wide range of working holiday, living, study and intern abroad programs for Japanese citizens.
Assessments Australia is a nationwide supplier of independent allied health assessment services with offices and projects along the eastern seaboard. Interestingly, these tenants had previously been located near 95-99 York St.
Mr Skufris said both Last Resort and Assessments Australia secured three year leases on Level 3, 99 York St at initial rent of $450 per sqm per annum.
“Ray White Commercial completed both transactions on behalf of owners CBD Design and Print Management Nominees,” he said.
99 York Street is a 14-storey strata-titled office building with basement parking and over 12,000 sqm of office space.
Other occupants include the Jewellers Association of Australia, Association of Independent Schools of NSW, Australian College of Professionals and the Canturi Corporation.
“We have one remaining suite of approximately 165sqm available for lease,” Mr Skufris said.
“It offers an existing fit out, own kitchenette and Clarence Street outlook suiting a variety of office uses."
