Taste Living, the home renovations solutions group, is close to finalising the leasing of its Sydney CBD office headquarters.
According to Ray White Commercial, the group recently relocated from contiguous office space at the Digital Alchemy building at 131 York Street to its own premises in the city fringe, closer to Taste Living’s Camperdown, Concord and Alexandria showrooms.
Ray White Commercial’s John Skufris said: "The Taste Living group occupied nearly 800 sqm over the top two floors at 131 York Street.
"Both floors offered 3 sides of natural light, existing fit outs, furnishings and oversized exclusive use balconies with stunning views over the Queen Victoria Building and Town Hall."
Survey Sampling International (SSI), the world’s leading provider of sampling, data collection and data analytic solutions for survey research, has relocated from North Sydney to 11/131 York Street in a deal negotiated by Mr Skufris and Ray White Commercial’s Anthony Harris.
"SSI secured an initial lease term of three years at initial gross rental of $460 per sqm per annum,” Mr Skufris said.
“The building owner, Yorkay Pty Limited, received security of tenure well before upcoming lease expiries in 2013."
131 York Street is bordered by Mullins Street and Market Row, one of the City of Sydney's preferred locations for its recent Laneway Art Program.
The building offers 4,940 sqm of Net Lettable Area plus basement parking. Other tenants include Lands Legal, Australian Hearing Services and retailer Abbey's Bookshop.
