Sydney CBD’s Hunter Street remains a hot spot for financial services office tenants, according to Ray White Commercial.
Ray White Commercial Office Leasing Director, John Skufris, said 48 Hunter Street - a Coombes Property Group-owned 15 storey freehold building with basement parking and 2,650 sqm of net office area - has been a standout performer.
“Its location offers excellent proximity to Martin Place, Wynyard, Circular Quay and Australia Square,” Mr Skufris said.
“Hunter St’s popularity is also highlighted by Charter Hall’s recent sale of 34 Hunter Street to Malaysia’s Cititel Hotels.”
Ray White Commercial’s Anthony Harris said: “48 Hunter St offers mostly whole floor tenancies from approximately 200 sqm to 330 sqm with quality fit outs, own amenities, a bright outlook and shower facilities.
“The building also provides floor by floor security, intercom access, individual package air conditioning units and on–call building management services.”
The wealth management solutions and bespoke financial services firm, Forte Private Wealth, secured a five year lease for approx. 200sqm at Level 6, 48 Hunter Street with initial annual gross rental of $562.50 per sqm.
“The firm required fitted office space within close walking distance to chartered accounting firm DFK Richard Hill in Martin Place,” said Mr Skufris, who negotiated the deal with Mr Harris.
Another new tenant secured by Ray White Commercial is Special Risk Managers, the life insurance group which has taken up a five year lease for approx. 200sqm at Level 7, 48 Hunter Street with initial gross rental of $575 per sqm per annum.
Mr Skufris added: “48 Hunter Street is also home to SMSF Super Solutions, Richard Lloyd Finance and Accounting Recruitment and Argo Pacific, the Internet and digital economy consultants.“
