NUMBER ONE AT THE BARRACKS

A National Trust classified, boutique building at the northern end of the Sydney CBD has again proven popular for creative users, according to Ray White Commercial.

The remaining whole floors at 1 Barrack Street have now been fully leased in deals negotiated by Ray White Commercial Office Leasing Directors John Skufris and Anthony Harris.

The three-storey building with rear parking available previously had the media relations project group, Cannings Corporate Communications, as its major tenant.

Mr Skufris said online advertising business, Tribal Fusion, relocated from waterfront offices at King Street Wharf to a 196.20 sqm tenancy at Level 1, 1 Barrack Street.

He said the diversified recruitment specialist, Vantage Recruitment, has moved from O'Connell Street to 199.60 sqm at Level 2, 1 Barrack Street.

Their respective lease terms are for three years with initial gross rentals of $450 per sqm per annum. Both transactions were completed on behalf of Lagudi Holdings.

Mr Skufris said: "1 Barrack Street is a boutique corner building providing whole floors with multiple sides of natural light, existing fit-outs, workstations, signage opportunities and own amenities including shower facilities."

Mr Harris said: "This is a genuine terrace- style offering which is ideal for creative tenants.

“It is conveniently located between Wynyard and Town Hall railway stations yet is still only moments from Martin Place.

“The buildings features include original timber floors, exposed ceilings and direct street access.”
